A growing collection of haiku films
Inspired by the work of Richard Wright and many traditional Japanese authors, I discovered a small but cogent voice in the style of haiku as a young artist. The immediacy of the prose and point of view, paired with the strong emphasis on one’s experience in the natural world, demonstrates a clarity I seek daily.
The format stretches between narrative formalism and experimental musings. It’s not for everyone, but it feels right to me.
I hope you enjoy these short pieces. - JC
